Jubilate Sacred Singers

Boulder, Colorado

Would you derive a sense of pride and fulfilment by leading a small group of exceptional singers sharing their musical gifts with organizations that really appreciate it?  Would you like to share your talents and those of a choir with a special mission to the elderly communities it serves?  Would you find it appealing to direct one or two performances per month rather than a small number of major performances a year?  If so, this opportunity is for you!

Jubilate Sacred Singers is a 25 mixed-voice a cappella choir located in the Boulder, Colorado area: a spiritually diverse service choir that takes music to those who love and need it, free of charge. We share God's word and glorify Him through music.

Jubilate Sacred Singers is seeking an Artistic Director.  The ideal candidate is a creative, flexible, and responsive musician capable of leading the music mission of the choir. The director possesses a spirit of collaboration, can work with all ages and musical abilities, and appreciates a diverse variety of ecumenical musical styles.  Responsibilities include directing the choir, conducting weekly choir rehearsals, developing music for performances, and assisting with the outreach of the choir.  This is a part-time position, 15 hours per week. It is a non-benefited position and includes two weeks of paid vacation per year. Salary range is $15,000 - $18,000, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth.
