                  Become A Member of Jubilate!

Becoming a member of Jubilate! is not a complicated process.  Prospective members are invited to participate with the group for three rehearsals.  During that time, members of the choir will give you an overview of the financial and time commitments required to be a member. As your visits progress, our Artistic Director will determine your singing ability and how well you compliment the sound of the choir.

Typically, we perform twice a month at church services and other venues, such as retirement homes and senior centers.  For a given venue, we commonly use pieces from our repertoire - as many as ten or twelve, even for major concerts such as benefits and other concerts.  It is not as daunting as it may sound as we are not preparing a new major work for every venue.  We learn additional pieces for benefit concerts and other performances as appropriate.

Over the years Jubilate has produced five CDs.  The group has made six concert tours in the U.S. and Canada, including an exclusive engagement at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2008.  One could conclude from this that we are an elite, highly trained group of musicians, but in reality, we are mostly amateur choral singers who have simply taken our musicality to a higher level.  We invite you to a uniquely satisfying mission and choral experience. We look forward to seeing you at the next rehearsal with the Jubilate!Sacred Singers. Click here for directions.
